I’ve been teaching ESL and coordinating programs, doing teacher training and mentoring for over 40 years at colleges and universities in four countries including in Africa with the Peace Corps .  I’ve co-authored eight textbooks, including the award-winning Conversation Strategies.  I have an MA-TESOL  from The School for International Training, in Brattleboro, Vermont. I am now Faculty Emeritus at Whatcom Community College, in Bellingham, Washington.
